Burnett Semester 1 Mid-term Learning Update - Parent Portal Account Required
The Semester 1 Mid-term Learning Update will be published by the end of the day, Monday November 18, 2024.
We encourage parents to take the time to make sure that you can easily access your MyEd Parent Portal account. If you have not set up your Parent Portal account on the MyEducation BC website then you must do so in order to view your child’s Report Card. In addition, if you already have an account but it is telling you that your password has expired, please follow the prompts to set up a new password and this should alleviate the issue. Please note that the password must contain at least one capital letter, one lower case, one number and one symbol, and must be at least 8 characters in length. User instructions for the Parent Portal are attached.
Account Problems?
Accounts have been created using email addresses previously provided to the school. If you did not provide your email address, if you need to update it, or if you are experiencing any other problems, please send an email to burnett@sd38.bc.ca. In the subject line please put Parent Portal, and in the message include the following: Student’s Full Name, Pupil #, Parent/Guardian Name, email address and the problem you are having. Please note that you can retrieve your password information by using the “forgot password” option on the MyEd login page.
Reviewing Reports with your Student
We encourage students and parents to review the Written Learning Update and reflect on the skills they have developed and how they can continue to grow those skills. Descriptive feedback will include comments on learning and areas for growth; and focus on what students can do and what they are working towards.
