Richmond Association for Montessori Scholarship $500.00 Open to District Criteria:

Attended a Richmond District Montessori Program at Garden City, McKinney or Steves for a minimum of grades 4 through 7

Has demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities and/or part-time work within the school and the community

Are graduating from a Richmond School District secondary school in June of 2025

Will pursue a post-secondary education and be registered in a post-secondary institution within 18 months of graduation (proof of registration will be required)

Is a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada and is ordinarily a permanent resident of Richmond • Complete application form

APR 14/25 4:00 PM Bob Mukai Memorial Scholarship deadline to apply

$1000 – STUDIES IN INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC
$1000 – STUDIES IN VOCAL MUSIC
OPEN TO RICHMOND SCHOOL DISTRICT STUDENTS ONLY

Bob Mukai lived and worked in Richmond most of his life. He was an educator, both teacher and principal in many different schools in the Richmond school district. He supported and encouraged music in the school, both in band, choir and musical theatre at the elementary level.
Bob Mukai’s family would like this scholarship to be awarded to a well-rounded student who like Bob has a passion for music and would like to expand this passion in their post-secondary studies.
CRITERIA:
Active participation in school and/or community activities

• Demonstration of good citizenship within the school and community

• Where all other criteria are equal, financial need shall be considered

• These two scholarships may be used towards music training lessons - vocal and/or

instrumental

• Tuition fees towards studies in a Music Faculty
