Building Community Through Student Leadership
Our focus for the year was on community. We began by noting that a significant aspect of building school community is the involvement of staff - relational teaching. When students feel valued and connected to staff, learners are more motivated, more engaged and more willing to take risks. It seems fitting that we end the year by highlighting empowered students and their leadership engagement and successes that inspired and strengthened community.
