- The Student Council is thrilled to announce that our annual Breakers Winter Festival will take place on Friday, December 20th! Join us for a fun-filled morning featuring a free breakfast, music, dancing, and grade wars! The festivities will start at 7:30 a.m. Admission is free for all Burnett students, and community members can attend with a canned food donation. - Do you have questions about educational programs or opportunities available to you in high school that can help prepare you for a future career in skilled trades, early childhood education, healthcare, and more? If so, join the Career Programs informal Q&A series this Wednesday after school from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Zoom. More information can be found on the Career Programs bulletin board located in or near your counselor's office.
- The Grade 8 Bantam basketball team played a tough game and lost against Palmer Secondary. The boys played hard and demonstrated great sportsmanship. The MVP of the game is Solomon Rocha, who scored 6 points. Good job, Breakers!
- The Bantam Girls played their FIRST regular season game yesterday against Palmer! They all played great defense and showed high Breaker spirit, which led them to a 27-22 win. The MVP of the game was Ava Rozdale! Ava had a total of 5 steals and 13 points, ultimately leading the team to their first win! Congratulations and great work, team!
- Come to Maker Wednesday tomorrow, in the library at lunch to make holiday crafts and gifts, including ornaments, holiday cards, and bookmarks. Everyone is welcome!
