- Are you interested in being a library monitor for Semester 2? If so, please come to the library after school on Monday, January 20, for a brief info session. The session will start at 3:15 and last about 10 minutes. Any questions? Please see Mrs. Riter!
- Do you have clothes you no longer need? Give them a second life by donating to help those in need! The Project Serve Club is hosting a clothing drive. You can drop off donations in the collection boxes around the school. Monetary contributions are also welcome.
- Attention Mathletes: Grades 8-11 students are eligible to write the University of Waterloo Pascal (Grade 9), Cayley (Grade 10), and Fermat (Grade 11) contests on February 26. If you are interested in signing up, please scan the QR code on the Math Club bulletin board next to Mr. Wong's classroom by January 24th at 3:00 PM. Once you have signed up, you will be contacted by Ms. Rodriguez to secure your spot by February 4, 2025.
- Hey Breakers! Guess what!! Pangea has BROUGHT BACK TANGHULU!!! Pangea's Cafe will be selling Tanghulu today, as our LAST SPECIAL. You have the option to choose between a Strawberry OR a Grape Tanghulu, $3.50 perstick. If you have already pre-ordered from our insta, make sure to come by during lunch to pick up your order. See you there!
- The Bantam Girls played against McNair yesterday, unfortunately losing 20-33. Despite the loss, they still displayed high level defense to their opponents. The MVP for this game was Alexis Grafe! Alexis was determined and focused throughout the game, which led to her being able to seek smart plays and opportunities! Good work breakers!
- The bantam breakers boy’s basketball team played against McNeil Secondary. The team played a tough game but sadly lost 54 to 71. The MVP for the game was Owen Sin by dropping 15 points. Great job breakers!
- Peer tutors, there is a semester end meeting this Friday at lunch in Room D199. See you there!
- The Junior Girls Basketball Tournament starts today at 1 PM in the Wave Cave! Come support the team and buy some snacks from the Athletic Council!
