Good morning, Burnett Breakers! Here are your announcements for Monday, Jan 13, 2025.

  1. Do you have clothes you no longer need? Give them a second life by donating to help those in need! The Project Serve Club is hosting a clothing drive from today till January 24th. You can drop off donations in the collection boxes around the school. Monetary contributions are also welcome.
  2. Did you get food in a blue container? If so, please recycle it in the special bins! These containers will be cleaned and reused.
  3. Do you want to know how your clothing donations help support homeless individuals in downtown Vancouver? Alvin from the Bellin House will be at the Project Serve Club meeting this Wednesday, January 15. Come to room A110B for a chance to learn about the Salvation Army.
  4. Are you interested in being a library monitor for Semester 2? If so, please come to the library after school on Monday, January 20, for a brief info session. The session will start at 3:15 and last about 10 minutes. Any questions? Please see Mrs. Riter!
  5. Athletic Council’s 2025 Stay Cozy merch just dropped! Scan the QR code on posters around the school to order!
  6. The Breaker Bantam Boys Basketball team played against Richmond Christian for their 3rd tournament game. The boys faced a tough loss with a final score of 17 to 53. The MVP of the game was Solomon, who scored 3 points and was the hardest worker on the team. Well done, Breakers!
