We hope that your summer has been restful and good. We are excited to see students again and to welcome Grade 8’s and all new students to this caring Burnett community. 

Attached you will find Burnett’s Welcome Back Letter with important information about the first week of school. This letter has also been emailed to parents and students.

FIRST DAY - Tuesday, September 3, 2024

• Grades 9-11        10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Grade 12             11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Grade 8                12:00 PM – 1:00 PM

All students will first gather in the large gym before being sent to their Homeroom classes. Grade 8 teachers and student mentors will be there at 12:00 PM to welcome and assist the new students before guiding them to their Homeroom classes.

Homeroom class lists will be posted by the main entrance at the front of the school by 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30th.
