On October 12^th, we held the first of our four Burnett Conference Days.  This year, our Conference Day goal is to meaningfully deliver the redesigned Career Education curriculum.  All Breakers created an account on myBlueprint.ca.  We will be using this comprehensive education and career-life planning program at every Conference Day.  MyBlueprint.ca is used in several districts across BC.  This application will help students discover their interests, motivating factors, and unlock occupation matches based on tools within the program for students to make the most informed decisions about their future

Ceillidh Millar, CHEK news reporter and author of PreOccupation, provided an engaging keynote presentation on practical career exploration and planning for a purposeful path through post-secondary which will result in a rewarding career, and avoid a one-way ticket to “Barista Land”.
