  1. Do you want to go to a live concert? On Monday, May 4th, the Music Program is auctioning off two sets of tickets: one pair for Louis Tomlinson from one direction and one pair for sold-out musician, Daniel Caesar. Starting bid is just $175 for 2 tickets. Concert doors open at 6:00 PM, and bidding runs all evening. Join us in Burnett’s large gym on May 4th — may the luck be with you! 
  2. Join us on Monday, May 4, 2026, from 6:30–9:00 p.m. for our Music Monday Concert in the Burnett Large Gym/Wave Cave. There will be concession items available for purchase, and entry is by donation. We hope to see you there to support our talented Burnett music students!
  3. Any students in Grade 9 - 12 who are interested in a volunteer leadership opportunity in July with the Richmond Summer School program , please pick up a flyer at the office.
  4. Athletic Council is selling delicious bubble tea from Suntea today at lunch! The flavours will be matcha, oreo mochi, passionfruit, and brown sugar. Use the link in JNB Athletic’s Instagram bio to pre-order!
  5. Today at Minemart, you get receive the delicious combo of our s’mores cookie and any coffee for just $5!! Make sure to stop by during recess or lunch!

  6. Next week is Mental Health Week, happening May 4th to May 8th here at J.N. Burnett. This year’s theme is “Come Together, Canada,” all about building community and real connections with each other.

    All week long, the counselling team is hosting fun, low‑key activities during lunch — including games, art, challenges, improv, a school‑wide dance taught by our dance team, and a gratitude activity on Friday. Keep an eye out in the cafeteria, gym, and library to jump in, connect with friends and teachers, or meet someone new.

    Let’s show Burnett spirit by coming together, supporting each other, and getting involved.
