  1. Attention all grade 8 students interested in writing the GAUSS Math Contest: Please complete the sign-up form using the QR code found on the Math Club bulletin board beside Ms. Haave’s room D205, and pay your deposit to Ms. Rodriguez in D211 by April 20th. Only students who have paid the deposit will be registered to write the Gauss contest on Wednesday, May 13th.
  2. Grade 12s, a reminder that Grad Dinner & Dance tickets are on sale now! This night is all about celebrating your high school journey together with dinner, music, and a chance to enjoy one last big evening with your graduation class. Tickets are available until May 4, so make sure you purchase yours before the deadline.
  3. Athletic Council is selling delicious bubble tea from Suntea this Friday at lunch! The flavours will be matcha, Oreo mochi, passionfruit, and brown sugar. Use the link in JNB Athletic’s Instagram bio to pre-order!
  4. Our senior badminton team had a game against Cambie yesterday. Good job to everyone on the team and our MVPs were Cici and Kyle!
  5. Congratulations to our Junior Badminton team on their match against Cambie yesterday! Both the boys' team and the girls' team scored 5:2. MVPs go to Chris Tang and Elsa Lin. See you all on Friday for an away game at McMath!
  6. The grade 8 badminton team took on McRoberts in a home game yesterday winning by 6-5. MVP honors go to Alina Xie and Naomi Tsang for their amazing performance. Great work team! Next game is on Monday April 15th with Richmond Secondary.
  7. First game, first win! Yesterday, our junior ultimate team won 7-2 against Hugh Boyd in their first game of the season, displaying exemplary effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Congratulations to the MVPs of the game, Tay Garcia and Alex Ma, who both played their hardest and showed great leadership! Amazing job, team!
  8. Grads, Dry Grad is at risk for cancellation. Here you can continue the fun into the night with your grad class after the Grad Dinner and Dance. There will be activities, a $500 cash prize, food, and much more! Last day to purchase your ticket is this Friday, April 10!
