  1. Grade 12 students, this is a reminder that the nomination deadline for the Schulich Leader Scholarships 2026 is January 28, 2026. If you are interested in being considered as our school’s nominee, please connect with your counsellor before winter break to discuss the process.
  2. Student Council is hosting the Grade Wars Gingerbread House Competition at Breakers’ Breakfast on December 19th. Form a group of five, and have one person fill out the form linked in our Instagram post! You’ll receive an email with more details about the event. It’s going to be a really fun morning—don’t miss out!
  3. Athletic Council is having a Bubble Tea fundraiser this Friday! The flavours are brown sugar, matcha, and Oreo mochi. Use the link in the JNB Athletics Instagram bio to pre-order!
  4. The junior boys basketball team played a thrilling game yesterday at the McNeil tournament. They played against Salish secondary and came out on top by beating them in third overtime. The score was 73 to 71 and the MVP of the game goes to Alex Ma who dropped 23 points. Great job breakers!
  5. The Grade 8 Boys Basketball Team played hard in yesterday’s championship match. Although they didn’t take the title, they finished the tournament with an impressive second place finish—well done, boys! Congratulations to Lukah Shabbits, who was named Tournament MVP, and Roger Chen, who earned All-Star Player honors. Great job, team!
