1. The counsellors are still working on course change requests. Please DO NOT re-submit a request if you haven’t heard back. Be sure to check your TEAMS and email. If you don’t get a message or email, it is either we haven’t gotten to your request yet or we are unable to fulfill your request. Please do not visit the office unless you have been asked to. 2. The fall sports season is starting this week at Burnett! Sign up in front of Mr. Harrison's room (B104) and be sure to check our Instagram page or our athletics page @jnbathletics.club for tryout schedules. Sports offered this season include cross-country, boys’ soccer, volleyball, and swimming. The deadline to sign up for tryouts is this Friday.
3. Want to make money while building your résumé? Sign up to learn how to referee volleyball! There are also opportunities to gain volunteer hours by learning how to scorekeep. For more information, visit our Instagram page @JNBathletics or talk to Mr. Harrison in B104.
4. Hello grade 12’s! The Grad Boat Cruise is coming up next Friday, September 12. It is at risk for cancellation if we don’t get enough grads. Today is the last chance to buy your ticket! This is your chance to start the year off in style! Pay on school cash online by midnight tonight.
5. Attention all peer tutors in semester 1, there is a mandatory meeting in the small gym at lunch on Friday, Sept 5th!
6. Photo day is Friday, September 19^th. All students must be photographed in order to receive their student ID card and appear in the yearbook. Please see school website for more information.
