- Grads and teachers, nominations are now open for the Valedictory Speakers representing the JNB Grad Class of 2025. We are looking for three incredible speakers – Class Valedictorian, Class Poet and Class Historian. Don’t miss the chance to recognize and uplift outstanding voices by submitting your nominations today! Details can be found on school website and instagram account.
- Do you want the opportunity to gain some volunteer hours this summer? Richmond International Education is looking for volunteers for their summer camp which runs from July 7 to August 15th. Volunteer for 1 week or more! Please see Mrs. Collins for more details.
- Attention Grade 10 students, don’t forget to sign up for the Playland bus list posted outside Mr. Yuen’s classroom, A209.
- Athletic Council is now selling tickets for the 2025 Athletic Banquet on June 5th! Tickets are $10 each in the cafeteria.
- The Grade 8 badminton team faced off against the Palmer Griffins in a home semi-final match yesterday, winning with a score of 7–4. MVP honors go to Aryan, who fought through a close singles match and came out on top in a thrilling finish. Elsa and Amy teamed up for doubles and grew stronger together as the matches progressed. Great work, team. The next game is on Wednesday, May 13, at Steveston-London. The winner will be the city champions.
