- Attention Grade 12 students, did you know that there are thousands of dollars of school-based or district scholarships available to Burnett grads every year? The recipients of these scholarships will be announced at this year’s Valedictory Ceremony on June 26th. All grade 12s are encouraged to apply. Complete and submit the Online Scholarship Application Form by 4 PM today.
- The Richmond School District offers fun and engaging summer learning programs where you can explore new interests, learn new skills, review or preview academic courses, or complete a full credit course. Registration starts as early as April 28. The summer learning catalogue can be found on the Richmond Continuing Education website.
- Attention all Grade 11s! Applications for the Class of 2026 Grad Committee Executive Team are now open! We’re looking for dedicated, creative, and organized students who can take initiative and work as a team. To apply, scan the QR code on the Grad Board outside Ms. Lenahan’s room. More details are also available on Instagram @jnbgrads2025. If you have any questions, see Ms. Rodriguez. The deadline to apply is Thursday, April 10th—don’t miss your chance to help shape an unforgettable grad year!
- Attention grade 8 mathletes! If you're interested in writing the University of Waterloo Gauss math contest, please see your math teacher or visit the Math Club bulletin board outside of Mr. Wong's classroom. Sign up using the QR code, and bring your deposit to Ms. Rodriguez by April 22nd!
- Attention writers and aspiring writers! Ms. Mackenzie is hosting a creative writer’s club on Thursdays after school. Come by for a fun and informal time with other people who love to write. It’s in Room D202, Ms. Brodsky’s room. Everyone is welcome!
- If you are writing your GLA assessment tomorrow, please arrive your assigned location at 10:15 AM. Remember to bring your student ID and a pen or pencil and eraser. You can check your assessment location on the posted schedules outside the office.
