- Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and it’s time to spread some love! Student Council is hosting a Crush Can Sale, where you can send a pink can to your lover, a purple can for your crush, and an orange for your friends! $2 per can or $5 for 3 cans. Stop by at the cafeteria during lunch to purchase yours and make someone’s day a little sweeter! Don’t miss out— show some love and send a crush!
- This is the last week to purchase Stay Cozy Burnett Athletics merch. Scan QR codes around the school and in front of Mr. Harrison’s classroom, or check out the link on our instagram, @jnbathletics, to order.
- Want the chance to win a foldable electric bike, Apple AirPods, an iPad, and so much more? Come check out Athletic Council’s raffle ticket stand outside of the cafeteria during lunch this week.
- Hey Mathletes! As the Pascal, Cayley, and Fermat Waterloo Math contests are approaching, Math Club is hosting a Waterloo Contest Prep session next Tuesday, February 18th during BLT in Ms. Rodriguez's Room. More details can be found on @jnbmathclub Instagram. Be there or be square!
- Music program info session will be today at lunch in the music room D 195. Find out all the music department courses and clubs for next year.
- Hey Ski Club! Today is our trip to the mountain and the snow looks great! We are departing at 2:45 sharp today, please leave class accordingly to pick up your gear and get to the bus on time. Again, the bus will leave at 2:45 – please be on time. See Ms. Kozij or Ms. Meralli if you have any questions.
- Hey Grads- grad ski & snowboard is a go! To the grads who handed in their forms, please pay the fee on schoolcashonline or in person with the business assistant Ms. Mundie, by this Friday, February 14th, no exceptions! We can't wait to have a memorable grad ski & snowboard trip up in Grouse!
- Hi Breakers! JNB Yearbook is hosting an information session on Wednesday, February 19th, during lunch in Ms. Carv's room (A109) to inform you what they do as a class and answer any questions you have. Don't forget to go if you are interested in becoming a part of this amazing team!
- Attention Grade 11 students interested in taking AP Chemistry next year: there will be a meeting at lunch on Tuesday, Feb 18th in Mr. Kailley’s room A208. Current UBC students from Burnett who took AP will speak. See you there!
