1. Hey Breakers, mark your calendars for Thursday, Nov 14, because Pokestop will be having another poke bowl special sale! We will be selling three flavors: shoyu tofu, shoyu salmon, and spicy ahi tuna for only $18. The preorder link is in our Instagram bio @jnbpokestop, so make sure you fill it out quickly, as we are selling only 15 bowls to students. Don’t forget to bring cash. See you then!
2. Hey Breakers! We’re from Pangea's Café, here to remind you that today is our Pineapple Bun special! You can choose between a slice of butter or a scoop of ice cream to pair with your pineapple bun. If you didn’t pre-order, don’t worry! We have extra pineapple buns available for purchase during lunch. Make sure to stop by!
3. The Science Club is hosting another panel about post-secondary applications with Theodore Yang, a Burnett alumni and UBC Science student. This will take place tomorrow, Nov 13, during lunch in the library. If you would like to learn more about the application process, this is a great opportunity to attend and ask questions!
4. On November 29th, the music program is hosting a Winter Gala from 7 to 9 pm, where you can see all of the Burnett bands perform. There will be a dessert buffet, winter market, and more! Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased on School Cash Online. If you would like to be a student vendor at our Winter Market, come to D195 to sign up. All profits you earn will go directly to you, the vendor. See you there!
5. Attention all students writing the University of Waterloo CIMC and CSMC math contest tomorrow, November 13, please arrive in the library before 8:30! The contest will run from 8:30-10:30am. Students are responsible for informing their teachers of their absence and completing any missed work.
