BREAKERS DAILY NEWS    

1. Hello Breakers! Today is the day! Join us at lunchtime in the large gym for Burnett Clubs Day, where you can explore a wide range of clubs and find something that sparks your passion. It’s a great chance to meet new friends and dive into activities you’re excited about. Swing by and find the perfect club for you!
2. Photo day is next Thursday, September 26th! Everyone must have their school photos taken as this is used for school ID and in the yearbook. Please see TV screen or posters around school for more details.
3. Attention band club members, our first meeting is next Monday, September 23rd at 3 PM in music room D199.
4. Attention Peer tutors, please attend an important meeting next Tuesday, September 24th at lunch in Room D199.
5. Attention breakers! Please note that the Langara presentation scheduled for today at lunch has been postponed. It will take place next Wednesday, September 25th. Thank you for your understanding!
6. We’ve raised $333.74 for the Terry Fox Foundation! If we reach $500, the girls from the Athletic Council will take a shot of hot sauce. Plus, every donor will be entered to win a t-shirt and lanyard. Let’s keep those donations coming!
7. Our Cross Country Team had their first race yesterday at MacNeill. All of our runners had a strong showing, highlighted by Thomas Liang and Henry Mejia Penate finishing in the top 10, and Sohanna Kooner taking 2nd place in the Junior Race. In the Senior category, our newcomer from Munich, Julius Feja, was the top performer. Well done, Team!
