Attention to Grade 8 students to please bring your signed Field Trip consent form to the office for the Grade 8 Day field trip to Splitsville Bowling as soon as possible. If you did not receive a form please come to the office to get one.
2. Today is World Teacher's Day. Let's take a moment to thank all the incredible educators in our lives. Please give them a round of applause (wait a few seconds). Thank you to our amazing Burnett educators, you inspire us to learn, grow, and believe in ourselves. Thank you for everything you do!
3. Students and parents are invited to attend the annual Global Post Secondary Fair being held at Steveston London Secondary School on today October 5th from 4-6 PM. This is a district-wide event hosting families and competitive students from across our 10 secondary schools who are highly motivated to explore post-secondary pathways in Canada, the US, the UK, Europe, Australia, and beyond. Registration is required check the Career Centre Calendar for the link.
4. Are you a student in grades 10 or above who is fluent in any of the following languages: Farsi, French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Punjabi, Spanish or American Sign Language? Come to an information session at lunch in the library to find out how you can earn high school credits for your language skills.
5. Attention Mathletes, if you are interested in participating in the University of Waterloo CIMC or CSMC math contest, please see the Math Club bulletin board outside of Ms. Haave’s classroom D205 in the math wing. Scan the QR code and sign-up before the October 9 deadline at 3pm.”
5. All Volleyball athletes please go to School Cash Online and pay your athletic Fees by the end of the week.
6. Today’s the day! Bear Shack is officially open! Come visit us at lunch, check out the store, and grab something you’ll love. We can’t wait to see you there.
