  1. All student athletes in any sports MUST complete an athletics consent form. See your coach or Ms Armstrong for details. You cannot play if you do not submit your form.
  2. Senior Boys volleyball – please come pick up your Jersey at Lunch today in B104
  3. If you signed up for the swim team please come see Ms. Armstrong in Room B104 Tuesday at 3:15. Mandatory!
  4. Volleyball season is kicking off this week! Please come support Breakers Volleyball. Starting today with Grade 8 Girls in the Wave Cave. Go Breakers!
  5. Grade 11 and Grade 12 Students are you interested in finding out all about KPU and transfer programs to UBC or SFU? Are you a little bit curious? Well now is your chance to be curious! A representative is coming to see you on Thursday October 1st at lunch in the Library Lab. Come along bring your lunch, ask question and find out if KPU is a great fit for you?
  6. Good morning Breakers! When Terry Fox first started planning the Marathon of Hope, his dream goal was to raise $1 million for cancer research. But after seeing how much people believed in him, he raised his goal to $24 million, one dollar per Canadian. Today, Terry’s legacy has raised over $1Billion worldwide. Let’s keep adding to that total and reach our goal of $1500! Athletic Council will be coming around to your class today and Tuesday to collect donations and you can also donate at School Cash Online! Stay tuned on our instagram @jnbathletics for updates!
  7. A Reminder to Grade 8 students to please bring your signed Field Trip consent form for Grade 8 Day  to the office .
  8. Hello Grade 12 students. Are you planning to apply to the University of Toronto? Are you a student with exceptional academic achievement and volunteer involvement in the school and community? Would you like to be considered as the Burnett Secondary nominee for the University of Toronto Book Award, National Scholarship or Wolf Scholars’ Scholarship? Students must complete the digital external scholarship nomination form by October 1. A QR code link to this form will be available on the counselling office doors beginning September 24th.
