Here are your announcements for Monday, September 21, 2026

1. Clubs’ day is happening on October 8^th! Please submit your club application form before Friday September 25^th.
2. Grade 11 and 12 students Post Secondary Institutions of BC will be visiting Burnett on Tuesday Sept 22 during PLT. There will be booths set up in the Multi-purpose Room. 
3. Hey Breakers! It’s that time of year again! Athletic Council will be coming around to your class today, Wednesday, and Friday to collect donations for the Terry Fox Foundation. If you forgot to bring cash that’s okay, as you can also donate on school cash online! Please help us reach our goal of $1500! We have currently raised $80 and are nearing our first goals! Make sure to check in on our Instagram @jnbathletics for updates!
4. All ELL 4 and 5 students will be meeting with their support teacher on Tuesday, Sept 22 at lunch in the support teacher's classroom. ELL 4 students with last names A to Li will meet with Ms. Lee in room A110A. ELL 4 students with last names Liang to Z will meet with Mr. Cheng in room D203. All ELL 5 students will meet with Ms. Wu in room A110B. Please bring a pen and paper with you to the meeting. For the complete list of ELL 4 and 5 students and assigned ELL support teacher, please see the lists posted on Ms. Wu's door at A110B. 
5. The Library is looking for monitors!  If you are interested in being a library monitor this semester there will be a short meeting starting at 3:05pm on Thursday, September 24^th in the library.  Please see Mrs. Riter for more information.
