E-Bike & E-Scooter Safety Outreach - September 9, 2026

Richmond RCMP Road Safety urges parents to check before kids hit the road on e-bikes. With more electric two-wheelers showing up on Richmond roads, dykes, and multi-use paths, Richmond RCMP is asking caregivers and riders to take a closer look at their e-bikes to ensure compliance with the law. A reminder from the City of Richmond that e-scooter riders, must be at least 16 years of age, wear a helmet while riding, and follow all Provincial rules and City bylaws for operating an e-scooter.
