Feb 17, 2026 Daily Announcement

  1. RVS Summer School Registration is now open! Registration runs from today until June 25, 2026. For more information, please visit the RVS website or speak with your counsellor.
  2. Attention Grade 11 students: if you are considering the dual credit course, AP Literature and Composition combined with English 12, please come see Mr. Bustin in room D117 for details on the course and to ask questions. Drop by any day at lunch, before school, or after school—no appointment needed and all are welcome. 
  3. This is a reminder for Grade 11s interested in taking AP Chemistry next year: there will be an important meeting today at lunch in Mr. Kailley’s room A 208. Current UBC students will speak about how AP Chemistry has helped them. Don’t miss it!
  4. All grade 11 students will be completing the YDI survey during PLT on Thursday, February 19 in the Theatre. Please bring a personal device with you to complete the survey. If you do not have a device, we will loan you one for PLT.
  5. Calling all students in music combos! Are you a member of a music group that is not playing concert band music? Would you like to get credits for your performances and learn more about promoting your combo? Come to an info session about the World Contemporary Music class on Friday at lunch in the music room. 
  6. The music department is running a popcorn sale all week at lunch in front of the courtyard!
  7. All ELL 5 students – you are invited to attend an initial meeting with Ms. Wu in her room A 110B on Tuesday, Feb 17, or Thursday 19th during PLT or lunch. Please bring lined paper and a pen to the meeting. 
  8. Attention all mathletes! Registration for the University of Waterloo Gauss and Euclid math contests are now open! Scan the QR codes on the math bulletin board to sign up!
