Dear Student,

We hope you are taking breaks, eating well, and maintaining your physical and mental health during finals season. You are almost done! Attached you will find your confirmed Semester 2 schedule with courses, teachers, and room numbers.

At this time, we will be accepting course change requests based on the following priority:

1) Incomplete course list (less than 4 courses)

2) Missing graduation requirement (NOT for post-secondary)

3) Incomplete course from Sem 1 (if space allows, otherwise you will have to retake during summer school or online)

4) Dropping a course for a study block (Grade 12s only)

5) Preference change

Please note, this form requires your MS Teams login. If you do not know your password, you will have to contact the office or email burnett@sd38.bc.ca for support. The counsellors do not have access to password resets.

This form will only allow you to submit one request. Be sure to read the instructions on the form carefully before submitting. Please also check your MS Teams frequently as counsellors may contact you with options if your request is not possible. If they do not hear from you, your request will not be completed.

Your counsellor is based on your last name. As Ms. White is still on leave, there are substitutes who may message you if you are in her alpha.

A-H – Ms. Yip

I-Se – Ms. Murad or Ms. Wood

Sh-Z – Ms. White, Ms. Ioannidis, Ms. Lee, or Ms. Ratcliffe

If you were placed on the waitlist for a course earlier in the school year, your counsellors will reach out to you via MS Teams if a spot has become available. You do not need to submit another request to be put on. Please do not contact your counsellors regarding where you are on the waitlist.
