  1. To keep reflecting on Mental Health Week, the counselling department will be hosting a mindfulness activity in the library Wednesday at lunch! Come and join us to learn more about breathing, calming the mind, and connecting with yourself. See posters around the school for more information on what to expect. We hope to see you there, Wednesday at lunch in the library!
  2. Attention Grade 8s and 9s! Jump Rope for Heart is on until May 9—help raise funds for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Register, fundraise, and earn prizes, then join the fun on Conference Day for an active heart health event!
  3. Attention Mathletes! Grade 8 students who signed up and paid for the Gauss Contest should attend on Wednesday, May 14 in Ms. Rodriguez's classroom during block A. Please check your email for more details!
  4. Do you want the opportunity to gain some volunteer hours this summer? Richmond International Education is looking for volunteers for their summer camp which runs from July 7 to August 15th. Volunteer for 1 week or more! Please see Mrs. Collins for more details.

  6. Yesterday, the Burnett Golf Team defeated McRoberts at Quilchena Golf Course, with consistent scores from all five players. Sahil Aulakh led the way, shooting the lowest round of the day. The Golf team finished 2nd place in AAA and will compete next week in the South Fraser Championships.
