2. Valentine’s is right around the corner, and it’s time to spread some love! Student Council is hosting a Crush Can Sale, where you can send a pink can to your lover, a purple can for your crush, and an orange for your friends! $2 per can and $5 per 3 cans. Stop by at the cafeteria during lunch to purchase yours and make someone’s day a little sweeter! Don’t miss out— show some love and send a crush!
3. Hey Breakers! Come to the Breaker Cave this week during lunch for open gym basketball! Hope to see you all there!
4. The Junior girls’ basketball team played against Boyd Secondary yesterday in their first playoff game, winning 32-21. The game MVP was Nicole Zheng who had 4 steals and 3 rebounds. The girls will now play Mcmath in the semi-finals tonight at Cambie Secondary. Go Breakers!
5. Hey Ski and Snowboard Club! Are you excited to hit the slopes? Our first ski trip will be tomorrow! You can drop off your gear between 8 and 8:30am to room D123 in the business ed wing by Mr. Mahli and Mr. Radil’s room. You will pick your gear up before we get on the bus during D block. As the forecasted temperature on the mountain is approximately -9°C to -10°C, to ensure comfort and safety, we strongly recommend wearing thermal base layers, a neck and face warmer, as well as snow pants, a ski jacket, and warm ski gloves or mittens. See you tomorrow!
