  1. Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and it’s time to spread some love! Student Council is hosting a Crush Can Sale, where you can send a pink can to your lover, a purple can for your crush, and an orange for your friends! $2 per can or $5 for 3 cans. Stop by at the cafeteria during lunch to purchase yours and make someone’s day a little sweeter! Don’t miss out— show some love and send a crush!
  2. There will be open gym basketball today at Lunch. Come play with your friends!
  3. This is the last week to purchase Stay Cozy Burnett Athletics merch. Scan QR codes around the school and in front of Mr. Harrison’s classroom, or check out the link on our instagram, @jnbathletics, to order.
  4. Want the chance to win a foldable electric bike, Apple AirPods, an iPad, and so much more? Come check out Athletic Council’s raffle ticket stand outside of the cafeteria during lunch this week.
  5. Hey Mathletes! As the Pascal, Cayley, and Fermat Waterloo Math contests are approaching, Math Club is hosting a Waterloo Contest Prep session next Tuesday, February 18th during BLT in Ms. Rodriguez's Room. More details can be found on @jnbmathclub Instagram. Be there or be square!
  6. Hey breakers, the bantam boys basketball team played their final basketball game of the season against Cambie Secondary. It was a tough game, and the boys played hard but sadly lost 35 to 61. The MVP of the game was Charlie Ng with 19 rebounds on both sides and 5 points. Well done breakers and have a great off season.
  7. It’s cold today! Did you wear a toque or a holiday sweater? Come by A207 at lunch for a sweet treat!
  8. Music program info session will be this Wednesday at lunch in the music room D 195. Find out all the music department courses and clubs for next year.
  9. Attention GRADE 9 STUDENTS, Program Planning sessions will take place this Thursday at 8:30am in the Theatre. Program planning sessions are extremely important in planning your pathway to graduation! We look forward to seeing you this Thursday.
