1. Grad comm is having a flash sale for candy grams! Come by today at lunch to purchase some candy canes for your friends with EVEN LOWER PRICES! You can get 7 candy canes for $2 and 11 candy canes for $3!
2. Yesterday the Grade 9 Boys Basketball team went up against Grey Point. It was an intense match, but the Grade 9 Boys took the win, Scoring 69-48! Great job guys!!
3. If you’re looking to join the ski and snowboard club this year, it’s not too late! There are still spots available on the bus. Students looking to join should drop their completed forms off to Ms. Kozij in room D212 by Monday, December 16^th. Spots are limited, hand your forms in soon or miss your opportunity for this year!
4. Science Club is hosting a presentation with a guest speaker today at lunch in the library to share what it is like to work in the computer science field! See you there!
5. Interact is excited to announce that we will be holding a Tim Hortons fundraiser in front of the cafeteria today! We will be selling an assortment of donuts, as well as ice caps, during break and lunch. Come support us by buying a donut or two! Proceeds go to UNICEF!

7. Hey Breakers! Student Council is excited to announce our annual Breakers Winter Festival will be Friday, December 20th. Come for a morning of free breakfast, music, dance, and grade wars! The event begins at 7:30am. Entry is free for all Burnett students and community members are welcome by canned food donations. Check out our instagram @jnbstuco for details!
8. Hi Breakers! This is your last reminder to sign up for GradeWars on December 20th at the Winter Breaker Festival. On December 20th at the Winter Breaker Festival. We will be having a gingerbread building contest in teams of three per grade, and the winning team will receive a Burr Basket! Sign up now through the Google Form linked in @jnbstuco’s Instagram bio.
