- Hey Grads! Celebrate Spirit Week by stopping by the photography room, B109 for a photo! The yearbook team will have a photo booth open every lunch this week. Don't miss out on capturing your grad memories!
- Are you interested in pursuing post-secondary or career pathways while still in high school? The school district is providing free programs for you! Whether you're considering a career in Biomedical & Health Sciences, Early Childhood Education, skilled trades (like Professional Cook, Plumbing, Electrician, Aircraft Maintenance, Auto Service Technician, Welder, and more), or programs like LinK38 and Strive, we’ve got options for you! Join us for an informal Career Programs Q&A session on Zoom this Wednesday between 3:00 and 4:00 pm. For more details, check out the Career Programs bulletin board near your counselor’s office.
- Last week, for the first time ever, the senior boys' volleyball team qualified for provincials! They will be attending the 4-day provincials in Vernon next week. Help fundraise and support the team by purchasing bubble tea for ONLY $6 in front of the library on Friday, Nov. 22nd. The available flavors are Passion Fruit Green Tea, Mango Milk Tea, Strawberry Milk Tea, and Matcha Milk Tea. See you there!
- Queen’s University Major Admission Awards are now open for application. To be eligible for these scholarships, you must first apply for admission to Queen’s University through the Ontario Universities Application Centre (OUAC) by November 20, 2024. After submitting your admission application, you will gain access to the scholarship application.
- On November 29th, the music program will be hosting its Winter Gala from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., featuring performances by all of the Burnett bands. Enjoy a dessert buffet, a winter market, and more! Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased through School Cash Online. If you're interested in being a student vendor at our Winter Market, please sign up in room D195. All proceeds from your sales will go directly to you. We hope to see you there!
