1. Attention all breakers! Our Summer arts spectacle is happening Wednesday, Jun 19^th from 3 – 5 pm. Join us for music, drama and art. As part of this festival, Drama 9 is presenting the short act play “No Show” at 3:15 in the theatre. It’s free. It’s Funny. It’s Fantastic! Let’s celebrate the arts at JNB!
2. Is this... an ILLUSION?? JNB Dance club is having their annual dance showcases this week! Come watch some NEXT LEVEL performances this Tuesday and Thursday lunch @ the BIG GYM! You do not want to miss it!
3. Hello Breakers! For anyone who purchased Timeless Breaker Hoodie from JNB Aspire, it is ready to be picked up in Mr. Lee’s room A125. Come by during lunch today and tomorrow.
4. Hello Breakers! The Project Serve Club is hosting a fundraiser for the Sharing Farm Society in Richmond. Join us for bubble tea from SunTea on Wednesday, June 19th, in the cafeteria during lunch. Then, on June 21st, we’ll have a croissant sale. Don’t miss out on the chance to enjoy some delicious treats!
5. It’s locker clean-out time! Please make sure you empty your locker and remove the lock before June 21st. Any locks left will be removed, and locker contents will be disposed of after that date.
6. Would you like to earn volunteer hours over the summer? Are you excited about mentoring incoming Grade 8 students? You can apply to volunteer for the JNB summer connections program. Please scan the QR code on the poster outside of counselling office to apply.
7. Do you remember the musical Dear Evan Hansen? Ben Platt from the musical and many others are doing a show in Vancouver in July at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. The music department is raffling off 2 tickets. Raffle entries will be at the June 19th concerts.
