BREAKERS DAILY NEWS          

1. The junior ultimate team played an impressive game against Seaquam(Se-A-quam) yesterday, winning 7 to 3. The top scorer was Kaylee, scoring 5 points, and the top defensive player was Grant with 3 blocks. Great job Breakers!
2. Hey breakers! Are you interested in training to join the announcements team? This is a unique opportunity to be a leader at Burnett and help the school day run smoothly. We are hosting auditions for new students to join the team for this year and beyond! Come to Ms. Kozij's room, D212, on Monday, April 29th after school for our first information session and practice. We hope to see you there!
3. Attention all ⁠Grade 8 students, Epic day is coming up on May 10th! It will be a day filled with fun activities. Remember to pay and complete the consent form before tomorrow.
4. Hey Breakers! There will be a SunTea bubble tea sale tomorrow at lunch outside the library. The flavors are Oreo mochi milk tea, brown sugar pearl milk tea, and fleshy strawberry and peach. You can preorder using the link @ jnbathletics Instagram.
5. ATTENTION GRADE 11s! If you are interested in applying for Grad Committee Executives next year, please see the Grad bulletin board outside of Ms. Lenahan's classroom, or Ms. Rodriguez's classroom (D211) to scan the QR code application form. Deadline to apply is May 1st. Let's make the grad year of 2024-2025 memorable!
6. Hey breakers, watch out for Student Council’s pep rally spirit week happening next week! Monday is denim on denim, and on Tuesday, wear your best outfit from the 2000’s. Come to school all iced out on Wednesday by wearing all of your jewelry! For versus Thursday, wear your best pj’s, or your nicest clothes for night in versus night out. On Friday, make sure to show up in your grade colour for the pep rally!! The most spirited breaker will get a prize. We can’t wait to see you all showing your breaker spirit next week!!
