BREAKERS DAILY NEWS          

1. Breakers got talent is making its grand return! The two week extravaganza will be held on May 1^st and May 8^th at lunch in the library. If you are interested in showing your talents to the rest of the world, come see Mr. Wei in the band room for audition details. Hope to see you there!
2. Hey breakers! Are you interested in training to join the announcements team? This is a unique opportunity to be a leader at Burnett and help the school day run smoothly. We are hosting auditions for new students to join the team for this year and beyond! Come to Ms. Kozij's room, D212, on Monday, April 29th after school for our first information session and practice. We hope to see you there!
3. Breakers! The day you’ve been waiting for your whole high school life is coming up! Prom is on June 14! Be sure to buy your tickets to dinner and dance before May 3rd!
4. A reminder to all grads going to boat cruise: be sure to arrange rides accordingly as there will be no bus taking us there, please arrange rides/carpools. Please arrive at the dock by 5PM as the boat departs at 5:30 PM.
5. Attention senior concert band members, there is NO practice today after school.
6. Attention all ⁠Grade 8 students, Epic day is coming up on May 10th! It will be a day filled with fun activities. Remember to pay and complete the consent form before this Friday, April 26th. 
7. Fruit and Veggie Day is on Wednesday, April 24th. Come pick up your free mini cucumbers at lunch in front of the multi-purpose room.
8. As you have heard about before, JNB Aspire is launching a clothing line fundraiser. Hoodies are available to try out at our stand in front of the cafeteria during lunch staring today. Please come and check it out. See you there.
9. There is track and field practice today at Minoru after school. See you there.
