BREAKERS DAILY NEWS          

1. The Tennis tryouts will continue today after school, starting at 3:15pm.  Hope to see you there!
2. The school play is here! Do not miss this thrilling adventure – it’s on Thursday and Friday at 7 pm. All tickets are $10 at the door. Bring your family and friends. Doors open at 6:30 pm.
3. Wednesday at lunch there will be a meeting for all girls interested in playing soccer in Mr. Harrison's room B104.
4. Wednesday at lunch there will be a Track and Field meeting for all Breakers interested in joining the team this year. The meeting will take place in the small gym.
5. The Senior Boys basketball team will take on Burnett Coaches and teachers Wednesday after school, starting at 3:30pm. The Senior girls will also be teaming up with some former alumni to take on the G10 and 11s. The game starts at 6pm. Come out and cheer on your fellow breakers.
6. Calling all grads for a morning of games, pancakes, and more! Join us on Thursday at 8:15 in the cafeteria during BLT. This event is open to all grade 12’s!
7. Hi Breakers! JNB Literary Magazine is having their annual creative contest for their upcoming issue, SPARK. If you are interested in joining this contest, please email your submission to jnblitmagazine@gmail.com. The prizes are either a $25 Indigo Gift Card, $25 Michaels Gift Card, or a free disposable camera! Check out their instagram @jnblitmagazine for more info. Submissions are due MARCH 4 at 11:59. Can't wait to see all your creative work!
8. Attention Mathletes! Please check the bulletin board outside of Ms.Haave's room D205 to check the time and location of your math contest this Wednesday, February 28th! Grade 9s will write the Pascal contest in Ms. Yen's room (D207) in block B, grade 10s will write the Cayley contest in Ms. Rodriguez's room (D211) in block C, and grade 11s will write the Fermat contest in Ms. Lenahan's room (D213) in block D. Please make sure you've checked the bulletin board to see the list of paid participants!
9. Hey Breakers, it’s pink shirt day on Feb 28^th! Let’s support anti-bullying together! Wear a pink shirt or button on pink shirt day to make a difference tomorrow.
