BREAKERS DAILY NEWS          

1. To all grade 10 and 11 students, are you interested in starting a college program while in high school and having your tuition paid? You and your parents are invited to join the virtual SD38 Career Programs info session on Zoom on Wednesday, January 31^st from 6:30-7:30pm.  Your parents were recently emailed the Zoom link and password.  It's also on the slat board near the counselling area.  Come and hear about trades training, Manufacturing and Engineering, Early Childhood Education, Health Care Programs and more!
2. To all Grade 10, 11 and 12 students, are you interested in learning more about the field of policing and emergency services? If so, apply now to attend the Richmond RCMP Youth Academy.  At this academy, you will engage in simulated activities, role-plays and learn about policing tactics.  Applications are available on the Career Programs website and with Ms. Carter in the Counselling Centre.  These are due Tuesday, January 30th to the RCMP detachment.
3. Breakers!! Our school-wide movie night is tomorrow! Come to movie night for FREE and get free popcorn! Sign up with the link in our bio on Jnb Stuco’s Instagram. Entry is free, but for a dollar you can get drinks. Bring your blankets and get cozy!!
