BREAKERS DAILY NEWS               

  1. Our Lost and Found box is FULL! Please come by the gym hall and check the bin. Claim them before winter break!
  2. Calling all grades! Today is the LAST DAY to buy candy grams! In honor of this being the last sale, grad comm is going to give you a little treat by having a sale! For 2 dollars you can get 7 CANDY GRAMS!!! don't miss out on this epic sale! Come by at lunch in front of the cafeteria for more info!
  3. JNB ARC is hosting a Towel and Blanket Drive! Please bring your unused towels and blankets to earn points for your Block A class! This not-for-profit event aims to provide necessary warmth to rescued and stray animals. Donations will be accepted till December 20th. The winning class will be awarded a Krispy Kreme donut party!
  4. Hoops for hope, a basketball shootout will be happening on Dec 20th at lunch in the wave cave. Don’t forget to sign up! Links are posted on our instagram @jnbhoopsforhope and around the school. Bring your friends and see you there!
  5. Athletic Council will be hosting a students versus teachers dodgeball game next Monday at lunch. It is $5 to play against some of your favorite teachers. Sign-ups is posted on jnbathletic's Instagram story. Spots are limited, so make sure to sign up fast!
  6. Zenkura is selling Grinch boxes! We promise that the boxes are nice not naughty. Get it for someone special or treat yourself! The boxes will contain some treats, charms, and stickers of your favourite teachers! You can buy them near the main stairs at lunch this whole week!
  7. The JNB senior girls had their second game of the season fighting hard against Hugh Boyd. The MVP was Mia Wu, who showed great sportsmanship and got numerous rebounds and steals! Great job girls!
  8. Concert and Jazz band members: remember that you are required to attend from 3:30 pm to concert cleanup on Tuesday, Dec 19th.
  9. Attention Senior concert band, there are no short rehearsals until Jan 15th.
  10. Congratulations to our music students on an excellent set of performances yesterday evening and a lovely ringing in of the holiday season.
