BREAKERS DAILY NEWS         

  1. Last week, the grade 8 girls had an outstanding win against McNair, winning both sets! The MVP was Brittani Christo for having a total of 22 completed serves and a constant supportive attitude towards her teammates on the court.
  2. If you are a grade 10, 11 or 12 student, and would like to be a one-on-one peer tutor to other students at school outside of class time, please attend the mandatory training that will be held on Oct. 10th, during BLT in the library computer lab. Part 2 of the training will be on Thursday Oct. 12thth during lunch at the library computer lab. This training is held only once a semester! Please see Ms. Chen in counselling for any inquiries!
  3. The Counselling channel on MySchoolDay is up and running! Be sure to subscribe today to keep up with wellness strategies, graduation info, and scholarships - especially if you’re in Grade 12!
  4. Grade 12 Students are you interested in universities across the country? Today is your chance to attend a Canadian Universities Event CUE at Delta Burnaby Hotel 6:30-9:00 pm. Registration not required.
  5. Attention all grads! Grad Wear is finally available for purchase. Please check SchoolCashOnline to pay your fees if you're interested in purchasing our limited-edition Grad 2024 design. Sizes are available for try-on in Ms. Rodriguez's classroom D211 at lunch hour only.
  6. Attention Mathletes! If you signed up to participate in writing the COMC math contest, please go to SchoolCashOnline to pay your fees by the end of this week. Students who do not pay their fees will not be registered for the upcoming contest.
  7. CALL US NEW JEANS CUZ WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOUR ATTENTION! JNB Dance Club will be hosting auditions today at lunch in the drama room. This time it’ll be all new dancers auditioning so bring the hype and cheer them on! Best of luck to our auditionees!
  8. Hello ARC members! Just a reminder that we will be having a meeting this Friday.  Come and learn about the pet overpopulation problem.

  10. Anyone interested in joining Fruits and Veggie club, there will be a meeting on Thursday, October 5, at Lunch in room D136 (foods room) with Ms. Look-Mason.
