BREAKERS DAILY NEWS          

1. To all Grade 10, 11 and 12 students, are you interested in learning more about the field of policing and emergency services? If so, apply now to attend the Richmond RCMP Youth Academy.  At this academy, you will engage in simulated activities, role-plays and learn about policing tactics.  Applications are available on the Career Programs website and with Ms. Carter in the Counselling Centre.  These are due Tuesday, January 30th to the RCMP detachment.
2. Attention Peer Tutoring students, you need to get your final assessments from the PE office today and attend a brief meeting tomorrow during BLT in Room D199 with Mrs. Reidy .
3. Our New Year Arts Festival is today from 4-6pm. Come and experience this amazing event that celebrates art, music and drama at Burnett!
4. Breakers!! Our school-wide movie night is this Friday, Jan 26th! For just a dollar, sign up with the link in our bio on JNB Stuco’s Instagram. Free drinks included!! 
5. For Grade 10 students who are writing your graduation numeracy assessment tomorrow, please arrive at 8:15 AM. Bring your student ID, a pen and pencil and eraser. Calculators are allowed. Please check the lists posted on the cabinet across from the office to see the date, time and room you are writing the assessment in.
