BREAKERS DAILY NEWS          

1. To all grade 10 and 11 students, are you interested in a career in Health Care?  You and your parents are invited to join the virtual SD38 Career Programs info session on Zoom tomorrow from 6:30-7:15pm.  VCC will be at the session to speak about two programs being offered:  Medical Lab Assistant and Health Care Assistant.  Your parents were recently emailed the Zoom link and password.  It's also on the slat board near the counselling area.  Come and hear about how to start one of these tuition-free programs while in your last year of high school.  
2. Attention Grade 12 students, UBC application deadline has been extended to January 31st. Please visit the UBC website for details.
3. Our New Year Arts Festival will be this Wednesday, January 24th, from 4-6pm. Come and experience this amazing event that celebrates art, music and drama at Burnett!
4. Join us for our Winter Concert tomorrow, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, featuring captivating performances by the JN Burnett junior band and students from our feeder elementary schools! Bring your friends and families!
5. For Grade 10 students that are writing your graduation numeracy assessment tomorrow, please arrive at 8:15 AM. Bring your student ID, a pen and pencil and eraser. Calculators are allowed. Please check the lists posted on the cabinet across from the office to see the date, time and room you are writing the assessment in.
