BREAKERS DAILY NEWS          

1. To all grade 10 and 11 students, are you interested in a career in Health Care?  You and your parents are invited to join the virtual SD38 Career Programs info session on Zoom next Tuesday, January 23rd from 6:30-7:15pm.  VCC will be at the session to speak about two programs being offered:  Medical Lab Assistant and Health Care Assistant.  Your parents were recently emailed the Zoom link and password.  It's also on the slat board near the counselling area.  Come and hear about how to start one of these tuition-free programs while in your last year of high school.  
2. Due to the inclement weather, we are moving our New Year Arts Festival to next Wednesday, January 24th, from 4-6pm. Come and experience this amazing event that celebrates art, music and drama at Burnett!
3. To all students who are interested in programming, the JNB CS club will be offering entry to CCC, the Canadian Computing Competition. If you are interested, please fill out the form to register. The form can be found in A 125, Mr. Lee’s room.
4. Join us for our Winter Concert on January 23rd, from 6:30 to 9:00 PM, featuring captivating performances by the JN Burnett junior band and students from our feeder elementary schools! Bring your friends and families!
5. Today is Cinnnanomrolls LAST DAY! Thank you so much for supporting us this semester, we couldn't have done it without you!  Everything will be at a discounted price today so make sure to check out our instagram for the updated prices.
