1. To all grade 10 and 11 students, are you interested the career of Early Childhood Educator?  You and your parents are invited to join the virtual SD38 Career Programs info session on Zoom this Thursday, January 18^th from 6:30-7:15pm.  Your parents were recently emailed the Zoom link and password.  It's also on the slat board near the counselling centre. Come and hear about how to start your tuition-free training as an Early Childhood Education Assistant.
2. Yesterday, the senior girls played an outstanding game against RCS winning 40-30. The MVP was Margaret Li, who got many shots and rebounds! Great work girls!
3. JNB Zenkura is having their last Bubble Tea Sale on Friday. The flavours are Brown Sugar Pearl Milk, Oreo Mochi, Fleshy Mango and Strawberry and Fleshy Grape, for only $6.99. The sale is in front of the library. Make sure you don’t miss out!
4. JNB Arts Festival is this Friday after school! Come and experience this amazing event that celebrates art, music and drama at Burnett!
5. To all students who are interested in programming, the JNB CS club will be offering entry to CCC, the Canadian Computing Competition. If you are interested, please fill out the form to register. The form can be found in A 125, Mr. Lee’s room.
6. Attention all Library Monitors!  There will be a monitor pizza party at lunch this Thursday, January 18^th, in the library.  Please let Mrs. Riter or Mrs. Verma know if you will be able to make it!
