BREAKERS DAILY NEWS          

1. JNB PAC Fundraising Committee is hosting a Winter Holiday Raffle. Funds raised will go toward the enhancement of education experience in Burnett! The total prizes of the raffle are over $4,500! Tickets are $2 each. Scan the QR code on posters, the school website or TV screen to purchase.
2. Our Lost and Found box is FULL! Please come by the gym hall and check the bin. Claim them before winter break!
3. JNB ARC is hosting a Towel and Blanket Drive! Please bring your unused towels and blankets to earn points for your Block A class! This not-for-profit event aims to provide necessary warmth to rescued and stray animals. Donations will be accepted till December 20th. The winning class will be awarded a Krispy Kreme donut party!
4. Hoops for hope, a basketball shootout will be happening on Dec 20^th at lunch in the wave cave. Don’t forget to sign up! Links are posted on our instgram @jnbhoopsforhope and around the school. Bring your friends and see you there!
5. ARC is having a pop-up cart sale tomorrow morning! There will be handmade animal plushies, shirts, sweaters, buttons, and hoodies! You can find the cart during BLT around the school! All the profits made will go to help animal shelters and animals in need!
6. Peppermint, cherry or raspberry? I wonder which candy cane flavor I’ll get from candy grams! Breakers, the annual candy grams is back and better! With 3 ways of payments, you can pay the small fee of 50 cents to grab a candy gram for you or your friends!
7. Hey breakers! The HOSA club is selling Christmas cookies for only $1 each! Come to the front of the courtyard in the cafeteria to purchase a variety of festive cookie flavours! All proceeds go towards the BC Children’s Hospital. Hope to see you there!
8. Hey breakers! Tomorrow evening from 7:00 to 8:30 in the theatre, the music program will have a performance here at Burnett. We hope to see you there!
9. Hey Breakers, today is the day we announce the winner of this year’s Canned food drive! But unfortunately - due to a tie, there won’t be a pizza party… there will be TWO!! Congratulations to…  Ms. Hue and Ms. Lam for finishing first in a race too close to call!!  Incredible job and THANK YOU to everyone who participated and donated in this year’s Cannes Food Drive. Together, we have made a difference in the lives of many!!! Until next year Breakers!
