Celebrating Excellence: Ma Sisters, Canadian Junior Squash Champions

We are thrilled to share the remarkable achievements of two outstanding students from J.N. Burnett Secondary School, Spring and Ocean Ma, also co-presidents of student council. They have not only clinched the titles of Canadian junior squash champions in the U17 and U19 categories but are now setting their sights on the LA 2028 Olympics, where squash will make its debut on the Summer Games stage.

In a recent interview with Sportsnet, Sping and Ocean shared their unique journey into squash and provided insights into their roles and the balance between academics and athletics.

We congratulate Spring and Ocean on their extraordinary achievements and wish them the very best as they continue to excel on the squash court and pursue their dreams of Olympic glory. The J.N. Burnett Secondary School community is immensely proud of these two exceptional athletes and student leaders.
