1. Yesterday, the grade 8 girls had another incredible win against Palmer, winning both sets. The MVP was Maya Bautista who had several hits and serves!
2. Bring out the drums! Bring out the posters! And most importantly bring your loud cheering voices!!!! ITS GAME TIME!!!! The jr boys volleyball team have their HOME OPENER game against McMath TODAY @ 3:30! Come by and support your favorite players! 
3. Attention Mathletes! If you signed up to participate in writing the COMC math contest, please go to SchoolCashOnline to pay your fees by the end of this week. Students who do not pay their fees will not be registered for the upcoming contest.
4. If you are a grade 10, 11 or 12 student, and would like to be a one-on-one peer tutor to other students at school outside of class time, please attend the mandatory training that will be held on Oct. 10th, during BLT in the library computer lab. Part 2 of the training will be on Thursday Oct. 12th^th during lunch at the library computer lab. This training is held only once a semester! Please see Ms. Chen in counselling for any inquiries!
5. Hello ARC members! Just a reminder that we will be having a meeting this Friday.  Come and learn about the pet overpopulation problem.
6. Grade 12 Students are you interested in a post secondary education across the country? Today is your chance to attend a Canadian Universities Event CUE at Sheraton Guildford Hotel Surrey 6:30-9:00 pm. Registration is not required.
7. Attention all grads! Grad Wear is finally available for purchase. Please check SchoolCashOnline to pay your fees if you're interested in purchasing our limited-edition Grad 2024 design. Sizes are available for try-on in Ms. Rodriguez's classroom D211 at lunch hour only.
8. CALL US NEW JEANS CUZ WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOUR ATTENTION! JNB Dance Club will be hosting auditions today at lunch in the drama room again. We loved seeing everyone’s support so let’s continue cheering on new members! Best of luck to our auditionees!
