BREAKERS DAILY NEWS        

  1. If you are a grade 10, 11 or 12 student, and would like to be a one-on-one peer tutor to other students at school outside of class time, please attend the mandatory training that will be held on Oct. 10th, during BLT in the library computer lab. Part 2 of the training will be on Thursday Oct. 12thth during lunch at the library computer lab. This training is held only once a semester! Please see Ms. Chen in counselling for any inquiries!
  2. The Counselling channel on MySchoolDay is up and running! Be sure to subscribe today to keep up with wellness strategies, graduation info, and scholarships - especially if you’re in Grade 12!
  3. Attention all grads! Grad Wear is finally available for purchase. Please check SchoolCashOnline to pay your fees if you're interested in purchasing our limited-edition Grad 2024 design. Sizes are available for try-on in Ms. Rodriguez's classroom D211 at lunch hour only.
  4. Attention Mathletes! If you signed up to participate in writing the COMC math contest, please go to SchoolCashOnline to pay your fees by the end of this week. Students who do not pay their fees will not be registered for the upcoming contest.
  5. Anyone interested in joining Fruits and Veggie club, there will be a meeting on Thursday, October 5, at Lunch in room D136 (foods room) with Ms. Look-Mason.
  6. Hey Breakers! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported the Grand Opening of Cinnanomroll!  The winner for our opening raffle is…. Katherine from Grade 8! Please come down to Cinnanomroll at recess, lunch or after school to redeem your prize!
  7. Hello ARC members! Just a reminder that we will be having a meeting this Friday.  Come and learn about the pet overpopulation problem.
  8. BUMP, SET, SPIKE!!!!!! The jr boys' volleyball team scored 3-0 against Palmer in their first game!!! MVP was Jimmy Luo! Come by to the wave cave and support the jr boys in their home opener game against McMath! Good job breakers!
  9. It was a tough game for the Burnett boy's soccer team, however, the team showed great sportsmanship and breaker spirit. MVP of the game Raihaan (pronounced: ray-han)who scored the very first goal of the season! Good job breakers! Good luck on the next game against McMath at Hugh Boyd's field.
