BREAKERS DAILY NEWS         

  1. PHOTO RE-TAKES will be this Thursday morning. Students who have not yet had their photo taken will be prioritized beginning at 8:30am. Students wishing a re-take MUST give their original student ID card to the photographer. There are no re-takes for grade 12 students as these are not the photos used in the yearbook.
  2. Grads of 2024!! If you have not purchased your grad hoodie yet, make sure you do so on SchoolCashOnline! You can try on sizing in Ms Rodriguez’s room at lunchtime until this Thursday! All orders must be submitted by midnight this Sunday!
  3. The JNB Aspire club is selling cream puffs from The Little Fox Bakehouse this Thursday! This sale will be in front of Mr. Harrison's room during break and afterschool. The flavours available are Matcha, Mango and Milk tea and the price will be $4.50 each! The pre-order link will be posted on instagram @jnbaspire.
  4. Calling all gr 8s! Attention 8th graders! Join us for a special Halloween dance hosted by the breaker mentors on Oct 26th. You get an exclusive half-hour head start before the whole school joins in. Visit Gr 8’s Instagram page for more details! 
  5. Attention Grade 8 and 9’s! Are you someone who self-identified as female? Join G.O Day at Thompson Community Center for fun activities promoting a healthy lifestyle. It’s a free event on Oct 20, from 8:45-1:30. There will be snack making, volleyball, fitness class, yoga, and Zumba! Contact Abigail Seetoh, JNB gr 8 Instagram, or Thompson Community Center for info. Don't miss out!
  6. WHAT A GAME!!! The Boys soccer team won against McNeil yesterday scoring 8-1!!! MVP of the game was Cyrus who scored 6 goals! And Ian Lam with amazing passes! the boys have a game against Steveston London today, so keep up the good work breakers! 
  7. Our Senior Boys Volleyball team fought against Pacific Academy in a home game last night. Our boys won 3-1 in an easy game, showcasing their teamwork and enthusiasm. The MVP of the game is Joey Hand with 22 serves. Excellent work breakers! 
  8. Our Jr Boys team is on the top of the Jr. volleyball league in Richmond now, with a streak of winning every single game so far! The boys will have a game today against RCS. The game will be livestreamed on instagram at jnbjrboysvball. Watch the game and show your support!
