  1. Grade 11/12 students are you interested in a BComm undergraduate degree? Are you interested in Business at SFU? Today is your opportunity to find out! Come and meet a representative from the SFU Beedie School of Business in the Library Lab at lunchtime. Ask questions and find out if further education in this field is for you.
  2. Grade 12 Students it is BCIT Big Info Night Wednesday October 11. Big Info is the largest program expo and information session at BCIT. It’s your chance to find out about all our programs. Join us in person on today from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at our Burnaby Campus.
  3. Grade 10, 11, 12 students, if you are interested in becoming an one-on-one tutor, please join the mandatory meeting during BLT on Oct. 19th and 24th in the library computer lab! You will learn to provide a valuable service to your fellow students AND earn service hours! Please see Ms. Chen if you have any questions!
  4. All peer tutors, please attend the meeting tomorrow during BLT in room D199.
  5. Starting this Thursday, JNB Cinna"nom" roll will be adding coffee to our menu!  We will be selling caramel macchiato, iced americano, iced latte and many more! Come by this Thursday to try our new energizing drinks!

  7. It was a close game for the Burnett boys soccer team, scoring 4-6 against Boyd. MVP of the game was Cyrus. The next game is against Richmond High. Good luck!
  8. The Jr boys volleyball team played a close game against McRoberts with the score 3-2, with the boys ending up victorious! Come to the wave cave tomorrow to watch the Jr boys against McNair. Good job players! 
  9. Come support the grade 9 girls volleyball team after school today against McMath in the Wave Cave. See you there!
  10. JNB Cancer Association is going to have a sugar cookie fundraiser in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It will be held this Thursday at lunch in front of the cafeteria. One dollar per cookie! All proceeds will be donated to Canadian Cancer Society. Make sure to check it out!
  11. Hey ARC members, come join us for our meeting this Friday. We will continue the topic “Best Friends Forgotten”. See you there!
  12. Community Enhancement Club will have a meeting today at lunch in B107, Mr. Fernandez Room. Don’t forget to come.
