BREAKERS DAILY NEWS       

Good morning, Burnett Breakers!  Here are your announcements: 

1. Today is the last day for donut orders! Buy a dozen donuts for $17 to share with your friends.  Pre-pay with cash at Ms. Galan’s room A110A and pick up your donuts tomorrow. All proceeds will be used by ARC Rescue to help animals.
2. Athena Liu, please see Ms. Galan in A110A to pick up your free ARC shirt!  On club day, you guessed the closest number of cookies in Jet's cookie jar to win a prize.
3. Breakers!  Burnett's Animal Rehabilitation and Rescue Club starts this Friday at lunch in room A110A (Jet's classroom).  Sign up with our QR code on posters around the school and join us to learn about current animal rights topics and what rescue organizations do to help animals in need.  Please be in A110A at the start of lunch.
4. Breakers! All this week we will be sharing ways in which our school community can take meaningful action towards Reconciliation. We ask that you please be mindful, open and reflect throughout the week about a commitment you can make. On Friday, please wear an Orange Shirt to school for the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.  One action you can take today is… Learn the land acknowledgement in your region.
5. Hey Breakers! The Terry Fox Run is this Wednesday. Please support our goal of raising $1000 by buying raffle tickets at our booth, by donating through school cash online or Toonies for Terry. Also, if you are interested in racing, please sign up at the link in our Instagram bio at Jnbathletics.
