BREAKERS DAILY NEWS      

Good morning, Burnett Breakers! Here are your announcements:   

1. Club leaders! Remember to submit club applications by next Tuesday, September 19^th. You will need to submit both the paper and online application. The form is available in the school office.
2. Attention all students! The Yale Youth Debate Academy has opened for applications! Their coaches include Ivy League champions and national debaters. They are offering to teach debate for free! Affiliated with JNB Debate, you can access applications on Instagram @yaleyouthdebate. If you or your younger sibling want to start competitive debate, this is an excellent opportunity to receive free training from top debaters.
3. Band club is for anyone who likes to play concerts and perform in Whistler. Our next rehearsal is September 25^th at lunch in the band room. Any Burnett student that wants to play is welcome to join.
4. Attention grads! Way to go for showing your school spirit for our first grad spirit week! We will be taking a group picture in the courtyard TODAY at lunchtime!!! Or come down to the tables outside of the cafeteria to get your grad t-shirts signed!
5. Hello Breakers! PAC’s Free hotdog event is happening today at 3pm. It’s open to all students, staff, and parents. Join us today for some free food and drinks after school!
