Good morning, Burnett Breakers!  Here are your announcements:

1. Congratulations to the track and field team athletes who competed in the preliminary meets last week. Good luck to the Breaker Track Team as they compete in the Richmond District Championships this WEDNESDAY MAY 3 at Minoru.
2. Congratulations to Burnett band for their outstanding trip to whistler. You were exemplary ambassadors of Burnett at the Festival. We are so proud of you!
3. Attention all students for this important information: Summer Learning Registration starts today! Visit our website for detailed information!
4. Today is the start of Mental Health Awareness week! Each day this week has a theme, and today’s theme is “We all have mental health.” While 1 in 5 people have a mental health challenge, 5 out of 5 people have mental health! We need to normalize talking about and taking care of our mental health just as we take care of our physical health. We have set up various stations in the library including Legos, puzzles, fidget toys, and many more. If you are looking to destress, recharge or decompress, come to the library during lunch!
5. Hey breakers! Stuco elections are back! If you are interested in running for an executive position, applications are due this Sunday, May 7^th. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Lim or Mr. Gupta.
6. JNB Stuco and the voice is presenting this year’s annual Breaker Idol! Auditions for singles and doubles will be held on tomorrow and Wednesday May 3rd. More information will be posted on our Instagram @jnbstuco.
7. Everyone is invited to the Burnett Gala Music Monday concert today, May 1^st from 6:30 - 8:30pm in the basketball courts. Come and celebrate the impact of music in all our lives. Admission is free. Bring your friends and family!
