 Good morning, Burnett Breakers!  Here are your announcements:

1. The Junior Ultimate team played their last game of the regular season against an intense MacNeill team yesterday, wining 8-7. Highlights of the game was Thomas Wang with 4 blocks! MVP went to Ryan Yu with 2 goals, one assist, and 3 blocks. On to the playoffs next. Great work, Breakers!
2. The Burnett tennis team played a close game against Steveston London on Monday and won 7-4. The MVPs of the game were Sahil Aulakh who won in a close tie-breaker game and Juliette Gobrait. Great job team!!
3. Hey Breakers! The Store has some new products along the way. Can’t wait to see what they are! The store is also holding a special this Friday! Make sure to stop by and show some support! More details will be announced on the Store’s instagram @store.jnb.
4. Give me a P! Give me an E! Give me another P! What does that spell?... pep! Breakers, we will have a pep rally next Friday, on conference day. It will be a celebration of this school year and Breaker spirit, and each grade will have an assigned colour to wear. Check @jnbstuco on Instagram to keep an eye out for the spirit week leading up to the pep rally!
5. Attention all Burnett students! It’s youth mental week. Join us on May 3rd during lunchtime for an important Mental Health Day event, in partnership with local community organizations. Come learn about mental health resources and enter to win prizes outside of the cafeteria. Let's come together to promote positive mental health and support each other as a community. Looking forward to seeing you.
6. JNB Stuco and the voice is presenting this year’s annual Breaker Idol! Auditions for singles and doubles will be held on Wednesday May 3rd and Thursday May 4th. More information will be posted on our Instagram @jnbstuco.
7. Hey ARC members, we will be having our meeting Friday at lunch in Ms. Galan’s room (A110A), see you there!
8. Everyone is invited to the Burnett Gala Music Monday concert next Monday, May 1^st from 6:30 - 8:30pm in the basketball courts. Come and celebrate the impact of music in all our lives. Admission is free. Bring your friends and family!
9. The school play is here! Theatre company is presenting a beautiful play about love and connection called “Almost, Maine”, running May 10-12 at 7 PM. Tickets at the door. Don’t miss it!
