Good morning, Burnett Breakers!  Here are your announcements:

1. Great job Grade 8s on the game yesterday! Playing with one of the Richmond’s leading badminton teams, we still managed to win a couple of games! Cici He and Hayley Chan made big wins! Keep it up breakers!
2. Attention all Burnett students! It’s youth mental week. Join us on May 3rd during lunchtime for an important Mental Health Day event, in partnership with local community organizations. Come learn about mental health resources and enter to win prizes outside of the cafeteria. Let's come together to promote positive mental health and support each other as a community. Looking forward to seeing you.
3. Applications for Kwantlen's Dual Credit Programs are now available. For students currently in grade 11, Link38 applications are DUE MAY 23rd. For students currently in grade 10 or 11, Strive applications are DUE MAY 8^th. Come check the information posted outside the counselling centre and pop in if you have questions.  
4. JNB Stuco and the voice is presenting this year’s annual Breaker Idol! Auditions for singles and doubles will be held on Wednesday May 3rd and Thursday May 4th. More information will be posted on our Instagram @jnbstuco.
5. Hey ARC members, we will be having our meeting at Friday lunch in Ms Galan’s room (A110A), see you there!
6. Everyone is invited to the Burnett Gala Music Monday concert next Monday, May 1^st from 6:30 - 8:30pm in the basketball courts. Come and celebrate the impact of music in all our lives. Admission is free. Bring your friends and family!
